Emerging from her confirmation hearing at the European Parliament in Brussels on Tuesday, Bulgaria’s candidate for EU Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, Ekaterina Zaharieva, told Bulgarian journalists that she wants to thank all MEPs who asked her questions during the session. Zaharieva described the questions as “competent and constructive.”
