site.btaSofia to Host European Aikido Federation Congress on June 29

Sofia will host the Congress of the European Aikido Federation (EAF) on June 29. The forum related to the Bulgarian Aikido Federation's (BAF) 35th anniversary will begin at the Marinela Hotel.

The event will be attended by EAF Chair Jerzy Pomianowski who will join BAF President Plamen Youroukov for a meeting with Minister of Youth and Sports Ivan Peshev and with the leadership of the National Sports Academy Vassil Levski.

As part of the activities surrounding the forum, a three-day aikido marathon will start in Dianabad on Friday. Ten presidents of foreign federations and three BAF representatives will demonstrate their skills with open training sessions for practitioners with at least a yellow belt.
