site.btaPlovdiv to Host Information Event on Euro Introduction in Bulgaria

An information event, part of the national awareness-raising campaign for the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria, will be held in Plovdiv on Thursday.

Among the participants in the event will be Economy and Industry Minister Petar Dilov, e-Government Minister Valentin Mundrov, Justice Minister Georgi Georgiev, Environment and Water Minister Manol Genov, Deputy Finance Minister Metodi Metodiev, Plovdiv Regional Governor Hristina Yancheva and Plovdiv Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov. 

As part of the event, a light show involving 100 drones will be held over Plovdiv's central square on Thursday evening.

The meetings are intended as a platform for leading national institutions involved in the euro changeover to provide clear, detailed and reliable information on the main stages and deadlines of the process. Partners in the campaign are the Economic and Social Council, the National Association of Municipalities, employers' and trade union organizations and the Association of Banks in Bulgaria.
