The average monthly contributory income for the country in April 2025 was BGN 1874.72, the National Social Security Institute (NSSI) said.

The average monthly contributory income for the country for the period from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 was BGN 1710.21.

The determined average monthly contributory income for the country for the specified period is used to calculate the amounts of newly granted pensions in May 2025, according to the  Social Insurance Code.

The amount of the average monthly contributory income for March this year was BGN 1,777.36 leva, the NSSI said a month ago.
