In March 2025, construction production grew in Bulgaria by 1.8% from February 2025, show seasonally-adjusted preliminary data released by the National Statistical Institute on Friday. Compared to March 2024, construction production increased by 8.9%, calendar-adjusted data show.

In March 2025 compared to February 2025, an increase was observed in specialized construction activities, by 3.4%, as well as in civil engineering, by 3.0%. A decrease was registered in the construction of buildings, by 0.6%.

Compared to March 2024, an increase was registered in specialized construction activities, by 13.9%, in civil engineering, by 13.0%, and in the construction of buildings, by 1.9%.
