Mobile operator A1 said on Tuesday that it is experiencing technical difficulties due to which there are interferences with outgoing and incoming calls and text messages in various parts of the country. "We are working hard to fix them and hope that normal operation of our network will be restored soon. Apologies for any inconvenience caused," the statement on the company's website reads.
Subscribers also alerted the BTA that there was a problem with A1's services.
A1 told BTA that only the 2G and 3G network is affected, and calls can be made via VoLTE and VoWIFI.
On April 25, mobile operator Vivacom experienced technical problems in their mobile network that affected their mobile voice communication services and mobile internet. Vivacom told BTA that the issues were caused by a software update carried out by a supplier of the company.
