The Norwegian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce is organizing a forum on opportunities for green growth to be held in Sofia on April 16. During the event, representatives of Norwegian companies and organizations will share their best practices and ideas for achieving green and sustainable conditions in business processes, the chamber said. 

Participants will include Innovation Norway, Circular Packaging Cluster Norway, International Development Norway, and Pixii.

The forum will discuss the role of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism grant funding in the development of bilateral relations, the opportunities for companies in view of the new European legislation on packaging and waste from the perspective of sustainable circular packaging, the role and importance of flexible energy storage in electrical systems to achieve the green transition. 

The event is supported by Norway Grants 2014-2021, within the framework of the Business Development, Innovation and Small and Medium Enterprises, Bulgaria Programme and will include presentations of successful Bulgarian projects funded under the EEA and Norway Grants programmes.
