Tourism Minister Zaritsa Dinkova discussed with Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong ways to promote cooperation between the Bulgarian and Vietnamese tourism businesses, the Tourism Ministry said here Tuesday.
Minister Dinkova said that Vietnam is a traditional and important partner of Bulgaria in Asia and efforts are aimed at achieving mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of key areas such as tourism, trade, culture and science.
Bulgaria is a sustainable year-round destination with world-renowned winter and seaside resorts and among the best European spa, medical and cultural destinations, she pointed out during the meeting.
The two officials signed a tourism cooperation plan between the two ministries for the period 2024-2026, which Dinkova defined as a great opportunity to strengthen and further develop their successful cooperation.
The meeting also looked at staff training, as well as the upcoming organization of a B2B tourism forum between representatives of the Bulgarian and Vietnamese tourism businesses.
