site.btaWizz Air Launches Direct Flight from Sofia to Tirana

Wizz Air is launching a direct flight from Sofia to Tirana, the airline said Friday.

Flights to the Albanian capital start on December 18, 2023 and tickets are already on sale on the company's official website and mobile app.

The flights will operate three times a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 

In addition to Sofia-Tirana, the airline announced that it is adding 9 more routes to its network in Albania - from Tirana to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bucharest, Malta, Prague, Palermo, Krakow and Chania.

In mid-April 2023, the airline's first aircraft took off on the new direct Sofia - Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia route.
