In 2020, Bulgaria was the EU Member State with the lowest climate-related economic loss per inhabitant, EUR 0.7 (less than EUR 5 million in total), followed by Slovenia and Slovakia, both EUR 4 per inhabitant, according to estimates by the European Environmental Agency.
