site.btaFive International Food Exhibitions Welcome Visitors at Sofia Inter Expo Centre

Five international food exhibitions, Meatmania, Dairy Expo Sofia, Bulpek, Interfood&Drink and Wine&Spirits Show, welcome visitors at Sofia Inter Expo Centre, starting Wednesday until Saturday, November 15. The events will be opened by Agriculture and Food Minister Georgi Tahov, the organizers announced.

Meatmania focuses on the meat processing industry, Dairy Expo Sofia on milk processing and dairy products, Bulpek on bread production and confectionery, Interfood&Drink on food industry processing, the Wine&Spirits Show introduces guests to wine and spirits from near and far.

The exhibitions will be opened at an official ceremony later on Wednesday. Agriculture and Food Minister Georgi Tahov, Indonesian Ambassador Listiana Operananta, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, Deputy General Manager of Inter Expo Centre and Director of Exhibition Activities Iva Gerasimova, Chair of the Board of the National Branch Union of Bakers and Confectioners Mariana Kukusheva, Chair of the Board of the Association of Meat Processors Atanas Urdzhanov, Chair of the Board of the Association of Dairy Processors Dimiter Zorov, Chair of the Board of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dobri Mitrev and other officials are expected to attend the opening.

There are over 400 exhibitors from Europe, Asia and Africa. Companies from Bulgaria, Greece, Turkiye, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo, the Republic of North Macedonia, Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Lithuania, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ukraine have their stands at the exhibit. There is also strong interest from Indonesia, Vietnam and Italy.

Events on food and health, a pizza championship, tastings from near and far, digital tools and latest generation technologies are among the highlights of over 30 accompanying events.
