The majority of the students have chosen to study subjects that will prepare them for a career in the social sphere. Among their preferred majors are social pedagogy and social activities. First-year students from the presidential initiative this year will also study law, economic sociology and psychology, hospitality and restaurant management, philology and philosophy.

The President's Support a Dream initiative is aimed at young people placed in residential care or foster families. To support their motivation to learn, the President's Administration awards a one-time scholarship to first-year students and outstanding twelfth-graders. The funds for the one-time financial aid are raised during a donation campaign, which the presidential administration organizes annually.

Last year, the initiative provided one-time financial aid for the education of 17 first-year students and 4 outstanding 12th-grade pupils. At that time, the scholarship for students was BGN 4,340 and for pupils, BGN 2,500.
