site.btaBGN 848.7 Mln in Government Deficit Generated in Second Quarter of 2025

Bulgaria's public revenues in the second quarter of 2025 amounted to BGN 22.577 billion, and expenditures totalled BGN 23.425 billion, resulting in a deficit of BGN 848.7 million, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) reported on its internet site on Wednesday.

This compares to a government deficit of BGN 1.797 billion generated in the first quarter of 2025 (revenues BGN 17.458 billion, expenditures BGN 19.255 billion).

The government deficit generated in the second quarter of 2024 was BGN 849.7 million (revenues BGN 18.401 billion, expenditures BGN 19.251 billion), NSI data show.
