site.btaViolinist Staykov, Pianist Neynska to Perform Classical Pieces on Saturday

Helikon Art opens its doors on Saturday for “The Virtuoso Violin”, when violinist Ivan Staykov and pianist Veneta Neynska will perform pieces by Clara Schumann, Paganini, Brahms, and Bela Bartok. The event will also include stories that reveal the hidden connections between the composers and their works, the Sofia Art Institute said.

This concert will be the second in the Concert with Story series in Sofia in August. The first one entitled "From Debussy to Ravel" had Neynska perform La Valse by Ravel, Estampes by Debussy, and the Prelude, Fugue et Variation by Cesar Franck.
