site.btaRazgrad to Host 23rd Yogurt Fair, Festival of Folk Traditions, Handicrafts on July 20-22


The 23rd Yogurt Fair and the Festival of Folk Traditions and Handicrafts will be held in Razgrad from July 20 to 22. Once again, the town will bring together guests and participants from all over the world, the municipal administration said on Wednesday.
Over 100 craftsmen will demonstrate their creativity at the stands in the central part of the town, including woodworking, fabric processing, jewellery making, artistic casting, ceramics, knitting and bladesmithing, to mention just a few. More than 45 traders and milk producers are expected to participate in a competition for the best dairy producer. There will also be stands for cosmetics, high-quality sausages and catering.
The international participants will include folk ensembles from Turkiye, Mexico, the US, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Argentina, Egypt and India. There will be five official delegations from Razgrad's twin cities: Wittenberge in Germany, Avcilar in Turkiye, Slobozia and Calarasi in Romania, as well as Stauceni in Moldova.
Many ensembles from Razgrad will also participate, including the Kapan Ensemble, Ludogorche Children's Dance Ensemble, Hortse Children's Dance School, Abritus Dance Club, as well as numerous folk dance clubs and ensembles for authentic folklore.
Children will be able to take part in a painting and crafts workshop, for which advance registration is required.
