Valentin Stoichev 199 Theatre celebrates its 60th anniversary on Thursday, the cultural institution announced. In connection with the anniversary of the theatre, the Wall of Fame in front of the entrance will be extended with 5 more casts of famous Bulgarian actors.

On June 12, actors Ivaylo Hristov, Julian Vergov, Svetlana Yancheva, Iva Todorova and Doroteya Toncheva will leave their footprints and a message for the Wall of Fame in the space in front of the theatre. The artistic design and production of the panels is carried out by Momchil Simeonov - a continuator of the work of Eng. Simeon Simeonov, one of the creators of the legendary wall. The original caricatures of the actors will be made by cartoonist Ivaylo Ninov. The new panels for the Wall of Fame in front of Theatre 199 will be installed and unveiled before the next scheduled premiere.

The theatre announced two more events on the same day. In the afternoon there will be a discussion entitled “Chamber Theatre - Before and Now”, which will include theatre scholars, artists and the audience for a broader discussion on the development of chamber forms in Bulgaria. In the evening there will be a screening of a Bulgarian National Television documentary, which is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Theatre 199.
