Rosen Donchev will present his exhibition project, entitled "Warm Gray". The curator of the exhibition is Natasha Noeva, and the public will be able to view the works from June 17 to July 4 at the gallery of the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) in the capital, the organizers said.

Rosen Donchev was born in 1963 in Gabrovo. He graduated from the National High School of Applied Arts in the town of Tryavna, majoring in Interior Architecture (1982) and Bulgarian Philology at Sofia University (1990). He graduated in painting with Prof. Dimitar Cholakov at the Bishop Konstantin Preslavski School of Fine Arts (2013).

He has had over 20 solo exhibitions, participated in international painting plein airs, in national and regional exhibitions, as well as in established painting forums such as Friends of the Sea - Burgas, Ludogorie National Exhibition - Razgrad, Biennale of Small Forms - Pleven, etc. He was awarded in the quadrennial Myths and Legends of My People - Stara Zagora, and was twice the winner of the Hristo Tsokev award for overall presentation of the annual exhibition of Gabrovo artists. Paintings and icons by Rosen Donchev are owned by private and state collections in Europe, Russia, the USA, South Africa and Australia, including the Japanese imperial family, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Izmit, Turkiye.

In 2010, together with the artist Vanya Zapryanova, Donchev created the Atelieto gallery in the town of Kazanlak. He lives and works in Kazanlak.
