The exhibition "The Energy of the Spirit of Innovation" with selected works from the collection of the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Foundation will open on Thursday in the Mission Gallery in Sofia. The curator is Prof. Chavdar Popov, said the organizers from the State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Cyril and Methodius Foundation.

"The exhibition presents a small part of the rich collection of the Foundation. The included paintings by well-known Bulgarian artists have been selected so as to show in a synthesized form various aspects and trends in Bulgarian art from the last decades of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century," the team said.

The exhibition includes works by artists Dimitar Kirov (DiKiro), Hristo Simeonov, Sava Savov, Gancho Karabadzhakov, Petko Abadjiev, Vladimir Goev, Kalina Taseva, Tsanko Panov, Yanaki Kavrakov, Andrey Daniel, Magda Abazova, Yordan Parushev, Olga Valnarova, Nikola Nikolov, and Alexander Raykov.
