Sofia's Spring Book Fair kicks off on Friday in the park in front of the National Palace of Culture (NPC). More than 140 publishers will present their activities and works within the forum until June 2, the organizers from the Bulgarian Book Association (BBA) said.
The programme consists of more than 110 cultural events, including 40 on the specially designated stage.
The official opening of the fair is at 5:00 pm. The cultural programme, however, starts in the morning with Ludmila Androvska, who will be signing copies of her books. Within the framework of the fair, the reading public will also meet Krasimira Makaveeva, Mira Papo, Miglena Mitkova, Satanasov, Dimitar Shumnaliev, and Aleksandrina Valenti.
