An exhibition by Bogdana Topreva presents jewellery inspired by photos made with a drone. Invisible Roofs will be on display at Sofia's Arosita Gallery from April 10 to 16, the organizers said.

The idea for Invisible Roofs came from several drone-made photographs of emblematic buildings in Sofia, Topreva explained, adding that those images impressed her with the unexpected lines and the point of view non-specific for the human eye. The view from above reveals other esthetic dimensions of well-known buildings and landmarks in one's surroundings, she noted.

The main material she used for her creations is silver combined with printed aluminium and colored semi-precious stones.

Bogdana Topreva graduated in industrial design from Sofia's National Academy of Art in 1992. Since then, she has been working in the field of jewellery and small plastic arts. She has had 10 independent exhibitions in Sofia, Paris, Brussels, Budapest, Bratislava, and Vienna. She participates annually in all national specialised exhibitions related to jewellery and applied arts as well as in a series of international events in Rotterdam, Milan, and Bucharest, among others.
