site.btaPhoto Exhibition "Bulgaria and Spain. 30 Years Together in Antarctica" to Be Displayed at Sofia Airport

An exhibition titled "Bulgaria and Spain. 30 Years Together in Antarctica" will be opened on October 6 at Sofia Airport Terminal 2. The display is part of the events on the occasion of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU and is organized by the Spanish Embassy in Bulgaria, together with the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute.

The exhibition will be on display until December 31, 2023. The artworks will be located in the area between the duty-free zone and the boarding gates, and the passport control counters, the organizers said.

The exhibition shows the history of scientific and neighborly relations that unite the Spanish and Bulgarian bases in Antarctica. In addition to the photographs, selected to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Spain and Bulgaria in 2020, the exhibition includes new images that highlight the excellent cooperation that unites the two countries, including in the field of scientific research, the organizers also said.
