The National History Museum in Sofia will host the International Forum "History and Future - the World Heritage of Bulgaria and Italy", held under the patronage of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture. The event will take place on Monday, October 2, at 2:00 pm. The working languages will be Bulgarian and Italian with simultaneous translation.
The forum is organized jointly by the Embassy of Italy in Sofia and Confindustria Bulgaria in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute, the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Construction Chamber and the Bulgarian representative of the pan-European organization Europa Nostra.
The aim is to share solutions and good practices in the field of conservation and optimization of the value of UNESCO sites through the experience of Italy, the country with the largest number of sites included in the UNESCO list. Italian and Bulgarian representatives of institutions, experts and businesses will gather to have a discussion on the preservation of cultural heritage and its future for the benefit of Bulgaria's international image.
The event will end with an official cocktail in the foyer of the museum on the occasion of the International Day of Architecture, celebrated on October 2.
Participation in the forum is free of charge, with compulsory pre-registration.
