Bulgarian singer Lili Ivanova made a memorable start to this year's tour with a concert in Blagoevgrad on Wednesday evening. Two weeks before the date of the concert, the tickets for the musical event at the Skaptopara Hall in the regional town were sold out, and a couple of days ago the team of the Bulgarian pop star announced that due to the great interest in the concert they were releasing a limited number of additional tickets without seats.

Long before Lili Ivanova and the musicians with whom she performed took the stage, the audience welcomed the prima, applauding her on its feet.

"For me, Lili Ivanova is the prima of Bulgarian music. This is the first time I am at her concert and I am very excited," 11-year-old Asya Dimitrova told a BTA reporter, who tonight saw the singer live, whose music she grew up with. "She was very little, she didn't pronounce the words well yet, when she sang 'Cricket' every morning while we were walking along one of the boulevards to take her to kindergarten," Asya's mother, Marieta Dimitrova, said. "I myself grew up with this music and I am glad that I managed to bring up my child with it," Dimitrova added.

"It's my first time at a Lili Ivanova concert, it's been dream of mine. Until now something always happened, even for this concert I could not buy tickets in time, but today by chance my acquaintances were prevented from coming and I reacted in seconds and left," Evelina Mitreva, who has arrived from Petrich especially for Lili Ivanova's concert in Blagoevgrad, told a BTA reporter.

Lili Ivanova's tour continues on June 14 in Varna, June 16 in Veliko Tarnovo and June 20 in Pleven.

BTA is the media partner of the musical event.
