Bulgarian Consul General Meets with Bulgarian Community in Boston

The Consul General of Bulgaria in New York Angel Angelov paid a two-day visit to Boston for meetings with the Bulgarian community there.

The meeting focused on the Bulgarian Center of New England and the Bulgarian School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in Boston.

The Consul General got acquainted with the educational process in all classes, had a conversation with the school management, teachers and parents, and delivered a lecture on the functions and activities of the Consul General to the older students. Some of them attended the event online.

Later, Angelov had dinner with community representatives. The Consul General also had the opportunity to meet Father Rumen Pelovsky of the St. Petka church in Boston.

Dozens of conversations were held on best practices in the study abroad process, challenges, needs, etc. Opportunities to deepen the partnership between the community and the Consulate General were also discussed.
