site.btaMystical Jars and Surreal Objects Displayed in Two Sofia Art Galleries

Curator Dobromir Ivan presents 16 artists in the exhibition Fortuna Vincit Omni. The display opens on Wednesday, January 7, at 18:00 at the Arosita and Depoo galleries in Sofia and can be viewed until January 21, the hosts said.

“The surprise of the show are mystical jars by the young Alex A. and surreal colourful objects by Denitsa Kurtazhov, alongside which Dobromir Ivan’s bronzes stand like relics from the Renaissance. And above it all is a small grey graphic by the legendary Joseph Beuys entitled The End of the 20th Century,” Arosita noted.

Among the highlights of the exhibition are also works by Vasil Slavkov, Sasho Stoitsev, Rosi Getsova and Olga Docheva.

The opening will begin with a short lecture by Zhoro Vasilev, dedicated to the question, "Is chance really accidental?", at the Arosita gallery.
