The Cabinet approved Bulgaria’s participation in the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia in Venice, Italy, titled “In Minor Keys”, the Government press office said on Wednesday. 

Bulgaria’s participation aims to promote the achievements of contemporary Bulgarian art, encourage bilateral cooperation in the visual arts and the mobility of artists, and enhance and consolidate Bulgaria’s international cultural profile.

The press release does not specify the amount of state funding allocated for Bulgaria’s participation in the Biennale.
