Overcast skies with widespread rainfall, locally heavy at times. Snow expected in mountainous areas above 600–800 m. In the Fore-Balkan region and the high plateaus of Western Bulgaria, wet snow is likely around and after midnight.

By the end of Friday, precipitation will begin to cease in the southwest. Small diurnal temperature range. Lows: 4C to 9C, 2C–3C lower in the high fields of Western Bulgaria and the Fore-Balkan, around 2C in Sofia. Highs: 6C to 11C, a little higher on the Black Sea coast, around 5C in Sofia.

The Black Sea coast: Cloudy with rain. Strong northeasterly wind will persist. Highs: 17C to 19C. Seawater temperature: 20C to 22C. Sea wave height: around 4 degrees Douglas.

The mountains: Cloudy with snowfall. Snow cover will continue to deepen; snowdrifts on high passes. Strong to gale-force east-southeasterly wind. Highs: around 1C at 1,200 m, around -2C at 2,000 m.
