Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov told Bulgarian National TV Sunday evening that the Government enjoys a stable parliamentary majority, which ensures its continued governance.
He emphasized that the coalition is complex, largely centered around party leaders. Any clashes within it are limited to debates and discussions at the leadership level, which are tested through parliamentary votes and cabinet support. “All those who support the cabinet depend on one another, and the Government guarantees that there is a functioning Parliament, where important decisions are made,” Zhelyazkov said.
Addressing political speculation, Zhelyazkov dismissed attempts by some actors to create a rift between him and GERB leader Boyko Borissov as “futile and doomed to fail.” He described himself as a politician open to dialogue and committed to finding consensus within the parliamentary majority on key decisions, while party leaders focus on political messaging and maintaining government stability.
