On Tuesday, Interior Minister Daniel Mitov said at a briefing of the Ministry of Interior's operational headquarters that overall, fires in the country are decreasing, tensions are easing, and some of them have been brought under control, such as the one in Tran.
The work and good organization of the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection are yielding results, Mitov said.
The Minister called on citizens to be careful and responsible, because most of the fires are caused by negligence or deliberate actions.
The situation in Strumyani remains the most complicated, said General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection head Alexander Dzhartov.
