The police in Varna have seized marijuana worth BGN 250,000, Commissioner Veselin Valchanov, head of the Criminal Police Department at the Varna Regional Directorate of the Interior, said on Tuesday.
He specified that the quantity of drugs seized is 12.5 kilograms and that four people were detained during the operation, which was carried out on July 6 in Provadia.
Two of the detainees have criminal records, while one of them has been charged with possession of high-risk narcotics for the purpose of distribution.
