The Velichie group Friday complained that it was excluded from Parliament's Permanent Delegations to international organizations, along with the groups of MECh and Democracy, Rights and Freedoms (DRF). The latter urged the Parliament leadership to discuss the issue.
In a declaration, DRF called for a meeting of the National Assembly's leadership to revisit the proposed composition of Permanent Delegations to international organizations, which is on Friday's agenda.
Velichie Floor Leader Ivelin Mihaylov claimed that GERB-UDF Deputy Floor Leader Denitsa Sacheva had said the ruling coalition had agreed with opposition parties aligned with the government to be included in the delegations, while the rest would be excluded.
DRF Floor Leader Dzhevdet Chakarov accused the majority of an undemocratic approach and of violating the rules of procedure of the National Assembly. He called it "yet another punitive operation" against his parliamentary group and its constituents.
