Vazrazhdane will start talks with the parliamentary groups of Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) and Velichie on Friday to determine the topic for the next vote of no confidence in the Government, Tsoncho Ganev MP of Vazrazhdane told journalists here on Thursday. Invitations for talks have already been sent to the two formations.
Vazrazhdane will propose a no-confidence motion over the government's financial policy, Ganev said, pointing out that the opinion of other parliamentary groups will also be heard. The Government is in no way helping Bulgaria in this difficult moment the country is in, he said.
Talks have already been held with the group of Democracy, Rights and Freedoms (DRF), he noted. "They said they would support a vote of no confidence; they just would not attend such talks and did not want to sign a motion of no confidence," Ganev explained when asked whether representatives of other parliamentary groups would join the talks.
The Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) parliamentary group are part of the ruling majority: they support the budget, vote against or do not vote at all for a no-confidence motion, Ganev commented.
There have been two votes of no confidence in the Government of Rosen Zhelyazkov: one initiated by Vazrazhdane over the Cabinet's foreign policy and the other, by MECh over corruption.
