Armed Forces Rehearse for Valour Day Parade

Late on Sunday and Monday morning, units of the Bulgarian Armed Forces held a rehearsal for the Valour Day parade on May 6. There were eight representative units of the Guards of Honour, the Second Mechanized Brigade, the Air Force, the Navy, the Joint Special Operations Command, the National Military University and the Naval Academy, as well as the Guards' Brass Band and the brass band of the Land Forces. Air Force helicopters flew low over Sofia on Monday. A Mi-17 flew a Bulgarian flag.

The Day of Valour and the Bulgarian Armed Forces will be marked with a blessing of the colours and a military parade in Sofia. This year's parade will not feature military materiel.
