Meeting here on Wednesday, the parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry rejected the 2024 State Budget Bill on first reading. The Committee described the bill as problematic for Bulgarian agriculture and expressed readiness to assist in its correction.
Also on Wednesday, the draft state budget was rejected by the parliamentary Education and Science Committee but got the support of the Energy Committee. On Tuesday, the bill got the support of the parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance.
The draft state budget was tabled by the Council of Ministers on November 24.
