Vice President Iliana Iotova voted Sunday in Sofia, using the machine ballot. She said that she voted for for overcoming the political crisis, for forming a stable majority and a stable government that will solve the most important problems for the Bulgarian people.
She noted that she voted for no more early elections, and said she could not define the situation in the country as stagnation. "Of course, it is very difficult to work when the National Assembly is not functioning in a parliamentary republic, when there is no political force behind the government, no solid majority to support its decisions. And yet the caretaker government left a very high bar, which I hope the next cabinet will not only jump over, but will increase its height," Iotova added.
