site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 60 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 1.9%

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,295,486, after 3,009 tests identified 60 new infections on Wednesday, 56.67% of which were of unvaccinated persons, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 1.9%.

The active cases are 2,744. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 252, including 33 in intensive care. Of the 18 new hospital admissions, 83.33% were not vaccinated.

Another 69 COVID patients recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing total recoveries to 1,254,560.

Three fatalities were reported, with the death toll reaching 38,182.

With 108 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,607,098 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
