site.btaMeteorology Institute Issues Yellow Code Warning for Four Regions for Thunderstorms

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a yellow code for excessive rain and thunderstorms for Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik, Smolyan, and Parts of Sofia Region for Sunday. A green code is in force for the rest of the country.

According to the NIMH forecast, the weather on Sunday will be mostly sunny, with cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds forming over the western parts of the country in the morning and over the eastern parts in the afternoon. Thunderstorms are most likely in Southwestern and South Central Bulgaria. Highs: between 30 and 35C, around 30C in Sofia.
