The Vazrazhdane party is marking 12 years since its founding, the party's press office said on Sunday. 

"On August 2, St Elijah's Day, 12 years ago, the founding congress of Vazrazhdane was held in Pliska," the press release added.

"This was the second, and decisive, step toward the creation of our political organization. We laid the groundwork on June 15, St Vitus Day, once again in Bulgaria's first capital, where we established the Initiative Committee for the creation of Vazrazhdane. Nearly 580 Bulgarians gathered to officially launch the organization," the party noted.
