A final coordination conference for the multinational naval exercise Breeze 2026 was held in Burgas on May 20 and 21, the Bulgarian Navy said in a press release on Friday.

The conference took place in person, with participants divided into four working groups covering maritime operations, interagency cooperation, special operations, and underwater explosive ordnance disposal and technical activities.

The groups discussed options for carrying out specific exercise scenarios involving both naval operations at sea and joint actions by the Bulgarian Navy together with governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Breeze is the Bulgarian Navy’s largest annual naval exercise involving international participation.
