BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Desislav Taskov is the top-of-the-list candidate of BSP – United Left for Varna’s 3rd multi-member constituency, the party press service said here Thursday.

Dr. Taskov was born in 1972 in Varna. He graduated from Medical University - Varna Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov in his home city. In 2004 he obtained a speciality in urology. Since 2013 he has also held a second speciality in health management. He has completed specialisations in urology, oncological urology and the treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system. He is a member of the European Association of Urology and the American Urological Association.

Dr. Taskov works at the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Oncological Diseases Dr. Marko Antonov Markov in Varna. He was a member of the 44th and 51st National Assemblies. In the latter he chairs the tourism committee and is a member of the healthcare committee.
