BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Svilen Trifonov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria for Dobrich's 8th multi-member constituency, according to a decision of the Constituency Election Commission.

Svilen Trifonov is a member of the 51st National Assembly, elected from Dobrich Region. He was born on 3 February 1982 in Pleven, the coalition press service said. In the 49th National Assembly he was elected member of parliament from Pleven.

Trifonov is a lawyer by education, with 20 years of professional experience in civil and commercial law, energy and the management of teams in the private sector. He is a judicial mediator. He holds master's degrees in Law and in Economics, specialising in Accounting and Audit in Non-Financial Enterprises. In the 49th and 51st National Assemblies he has been a member of the parliamentary Committee on Agriculture. In the 51st National Assembly he is deputy chair of the Committee on Prevention and Counteraction of Corruption. Before that he was deputy chair of Pleven Municipal Council. Svilen Trifonov is married and has two children.
