The Government appointed new members of the Supervisory Board of the National Social Security Institute (NSSI), the Government Information Service said on Wednesday.
By law, the Supervisory Board consists of one representative of each of the nationally representative employers' and trade unions' organizations and an equal number of members appointed by the government, one of whom must be the deputy executive director of the National Revenue Agency.
In connection with the presidential decree on the appointment of a caretaker government on February 19, 2026, the release of government representatives on the NSSI Supervisory Board and the appointment of new members were required.
As new members of the NSSI Supervisory Board, the Government appointed caretaker Minister of Labour and Social Policy Hasan Ademov and Deputy Health Minister Antoniya Dimova.
Borislav Gutsanov and Katya Parakozova were dismissed from the Supervisory Board.
