Police Officers in Kyustendil detained a man wanted for murder in North Macedonia, the spokesperson for the Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry in Kyustendil, Katya Tabachka, told BTA on Friday.

During an inspection of the Traffic Police, officers found that the 53-year-old man was declared an international wanted person through Interpol. The man, who has Bulgarian and Macedonian citizenship, was convicted in North Macedonia for murder, Tabachka specified, adding that a court procedure is pending in connection with a request for his extradition.
