An orange code for four regions and a yellow code for 19 regions have been issued by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology for Sunday.

An orange code for snow, icy conditions and strong winds is in force for the regions of Dobrich, Razgrad, Ruse and Silistra.

A yellow code for strong winds has been issued for the regions of Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Montana, Plovdiv and Sliven. A yellow warning for strong winds as well as for snow and icy conditions is in effect for Varna, Vratsa, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Lovech, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Targovishte and Shumen. A yellow code for rainfall is in force for the regions of Burgas and Haskovo, for snowfall for Sofia Region and Smolyan, and for a mix of snow and rain for Kardzhali.

No warnings for hazardous weather have been issued for the regions of Kyustendil, Pernik, Sofia City, Stara Zagora and Yambol.
