Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria ranking members Ivaylo Mirchev hopes for 2026 to be the year when full euro integration and civic awakening change the country for the better. "Let 2026 be the year in which our full euro integration and civic awakening will change our country for the better. The year in which the anger from the squares and the strength of the protests turn into constructive action and responsibility for the future of Bulgaria and our children," he wrote in a Facebook post.

Mirchev wrote that ahead of Bulgarians is a year of decisive elections. "It depends on our collective efforts to see the darkness of dependencies, arrogance, and impunity giving way to our will for a state with rules, justice, and functioning institutions."

He added that "determination and faith should guide public actions, expressing confidence that Bulgarians can work together to build a strong community and a dignified, modern country, standing proudly alongside its European partners".
