The votes in favour came from GERB-UDF, Movement for Right and Freedoms - New Beginning, BSP-United Left, There Is Such a People, and four independent MPs. The bill was opposed by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, Vazrazhdane, the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, and Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh). Velichie did not participate in the vote.
