Bulgaria and Turkiye will continue to strengthen cooperation in energy, security and migration, while the Turkish side will assist in the construction of a Bulgarian consulate in Edirne, it emerged from a meeting between caretaker Foreign Minister Nadezhda Neynsky and her Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Istanbul. The talks took place on the sidelines of the Stratcom Summit 2026, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release on Saturday.
