Bulgaria's newly appointed ambassador to Serbia, Angel Angelov, presented his letters of credence to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade on Monday. With this act, Angelov officially took up office.
"I discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria and expressed my belief that enhancing dialogue will foster better mutual understanding and trust - key prerequisites for progress and stability in the region. I highlighted the determination to boost economic cooperation and noted that Bulgarian companies are welcome in Serbia," Vucic wrote on Instagram.
President Vucic wished Ambassador Angelov success in his role and expressed hope that they would work together to further improve relations between the two countries.
