The head of State welcomed on Friday the graduates of Class 2025 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Sofia, the press center of the Presidency reported.
Institutions and society should regard higher medical education as a national priority and an investment in the future, President Rumen Radev said in his address to the graduating doctors of Class 2025 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Sofia. The ceremonial awarding of their diplomas took place on Friday at the National Palace of Culture.
The head of State expressed his gratitude to those who have dedicated their lives to such a difficult and noble profession in the most complex field of human knowledge – medicine, which demands boundless faith in humanity and goodness.
“Creating a doctor is a mission. You give not only health, but also aesthetics and confidence,” emphasized Rumen Radev, highlighting the undisputed leadership role of the Faculty of Dental Medicine.
“I am fully aware of the challenges facing young doctors,” Radev stressed, expressing hope that the changes implemented in recent years will create better conditions for professional realization.
In his speech, the President also congratulated the foreign graduates for choosing to receive high-quality education in Bulgaria. “I believe that during these six years Bulgaria has become your second home and will remain so in the future,” said Rumen Radev.
