site.btaUPDATED MRF - New Beginning Leader Enters Parliament after Verbal Clash with CC-DB

Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski was able to enter the National Assembly on Thursday after he got into a verbal altercation with representatives of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), as seen by a BTA reporter. Peevski's usual means of entry was hindered by CC-DB MPs who had blocked the entrances to the Parliament's parking lot with their cars.
Peevski called CC-DB MPs thieves and declared that he will "make a State with a capital S". He continued: "These people [the members of CC-DB] ran out of motives yesterday [on Wednesday]. It is easy for us to do the same, because the people hate them and want to beat them up, but we are a different party. There will be a State, and they are done for."
CC Chair Assen Vassilev told reporters: "I am glad that he [Peevski] finally walked along the sidewalks of Sofia, albeit with five bodyguards around him and protecting him." Vassilev alleged that Peevski is completely derailed, because he can sense that the people cannot stand the government. Vassilev added: "It would be good for all MPs to walk through downtown Sofia, to meet with citizens freely, without security, just as we do. This would be the most normal thing in a democratic country, rather than having the entire group of New Beginning shout while being surrounded by security and being afraid to walk 10 metres on his own."
